The Objective
Create a product that will transform the public transport experience for passengers
Matatus in Kenya operate under saccos (Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations). They are associations formed by matatu owners and operators to collectively manage their business operations. They aim to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the public transportation sector in the country.
Past efforts to digitize their operations have been futile with little uptake from both operators and passengers.
The Solution
A digital platform alowing passengers to pay, earn loyalty points and redeem them for fare
